Zack works with local citizens, businesses, recreation and conservation organizations, government agency staff and elected officials to protect wild rivers in Montana, Wyoming, and Idaho.
Zack joined American Rivers in 2019. Prior to that, he spent seven years serving as Sierra Club’s Idaho Director and two years as a campaign representative for Sierra Club’s Greater Yellowstone campaign in Bozeman. When Zack is not working to protect the lands, water, and wildlife of the American West, he spends his free time exploring our public lands by raft, bike, skis, and foot with his goldendoodle and best friend, Beau.
