My work is focused on promoting green infrastructure, improving state stormwater management policies, and reducing municipal impacts on water quality in Pennsylvania, with a focus on the Delaware River and Chesapeake Bay watersheds. Prior to joining American Rivers, I worked with The Watershed Institute to advance clean water policies in central New Jersey; and as a consultant, to implement large-scale green infrastructure programs in Philadelphia, New York City, and Prince George’s County, Maryland.
Education: BA, English – University of Connecticut; Masters of Environmental Studies – University of Pennsylvania
Favorite River: The Brandywine
River Story: I spent a summer working as an intern for a watershed partnership in Juneau, Alaska. On my weekends off, I got to explore the state and all its amazing rivers that are nothing like the rivers I was used to on the East Coast. A couple highlights: camping along the Matanuska River, and paddling in Resurrection Bay.
